Special thanks to the lady who led us on to this location. And Vanessa for finding it for us!
Our second class meeting.
Next to the Alhambra Theater in the Adam’s Gallery for planning.
Walking from our new “classroom” to our Art House!
We are all about to experience, for the first time for each of us, the interior of the house. Who knows what we are going to find!
Thankfully, the house was not a disaster just in a bit of disarray.

The first room before clean up.
View from the first room looking back toward the 2nd room
2nd room from before, we found a wedding dress with a train in the closet off to the left side of this frame, we hope to incorporate it into the finished product.
The door on the left, where the light emanates from, is the bathroom, two closets are positioned behind the door.
This image reminds me of the experience we shared as we entered. My classmates, professor, and I all went urban exploring (with permission of course) in our “new house”. One themes we pulled from our initial experience was that of wonder and finding out the unknown, much like when we were children and everything was new and full of unexplored territory. We want to integrate this idea into the house for sure: giving people an experience that they will remember in a positive, or at least not negative, light.
We began cleaning out the house Saturday morning, May 17th 2014. After less than an hour, the 10 of us had the house empty and organized. Then we met to discuss what we were going to do with the interior space. We brainstormed and landed on a few common ideas we wanted to pursue. For our next class we will have sketches and proposals for how we are going to execute our designs (DES9s).
