December Updates

From my show Immerse at the Koch Immersive Theater, to the many art shows, 2016 has been a fun and exciting year for Jenna Citrus art. But this year is not over yet!

On December 7th my solo exhibition, Process, will be opening at the McCutchan Art Center and Pace Galleries on the campus of the University of Southern Indiana. It is the culmination of my year as the Efroymson Bridge Year Fellow. The opening reception will take place on Wednesday, December 7th from 7 to 9 p.m., and the exhibit will be on continuous display until January 16th. Please make plans to attend. I am so excited to share with you all of the new art that has been created specifically for this show.

Prior to my solo show, I will be having my last sale of the year at the Holiday Mart, which is held at the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science. It will take place on December 3rd from 11am to 5pm, and on December 4th from 12pm to 5pm.

I would also like to share a special coupon for online sales on November 26th in concurrence with Small Business Saturday, any online purchases made from my Etsy store from now until 11/27/16 will receive 20% off of their purchase. Happy shopping!

I look forward to seeing you again this year.

Have a Happy Holiday season.

As I move into the final few months of 2016, I would just like to say I have had a wonderful 2016 thus far. September brings an intensive time for art shows and buckling down and beginning to apply to graduate programs.

Tomorrow marks the last First Friday of 2016, please join me under the Alhambra Theater tomorrow night from 6-9 p.m.

September 17-18 is New Harmony’s Kunstfest. I will be sharing a booth with my friend String Theory. Come visit us at this artistic and historical event.

September 24th is the 14th Annual Haynie’s Corner Art Festival.

I’ve been hard at work with my Efroymson Bridge Year Fellowship. You can find the Facebook event here: Follow along for updates and behind the scene photos.

I’m also trying something new this year, on August 5th I ran my first 10k, ever, it just so happened to be in the YMCA race. So I’ve decided there is no time like the present and I’ve joined the race circuit. This Saturday I will be running my first 15k and October 1st I will attempt my first half marathon (wish me luck!). Also, on October 1st, I will be set up with my art show supplies and offering body painting at Lamasco’s for this event:

I look forward to seeing each of you at some or all of these events. Thank you for being a part of my artistic endeavors.

P.S. Don’t forget to visit my etsy and square stores. and And if you would like removed from this list just email back saying so.
